-DedicateD-

whats your diet look like, cutting or bulking?

i was doing a dirty bulk in the fall/winter to put on alotta weight, which i did. i have always had a quick metabolism so i never got too fat... starting in january-feb i starting taking out the extra carbs and sugar, but would still consider my diet a clean bulk leaning towards a cutting diet. i LOVE to eat so unless i choose to compete one day i will never get as strict as some of the diets that are posted here in the forums. im used to holding some weight around my waste and sides, although it does mess up the v-taper a bit.

yeah i give a lot of respect to the people who can really diet and cut hard ... it takes a lot of will power, dedication, and planning to be able to pull that shit off. maybe one day ill give it a try, but i like where im going with my look now so ill keep it up

your jacked, and natural? what's your workout look like?

yeah im natural xcept for the SD cycle...my workouts are most likely considered overtraining by most. i do a 5-day split hitting every body part once: chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms

i try and do 18 sets total for big body part, usually 6 diff exercises 3 sets each. its more of instinctive training now, nothing is ever written down or set in stone, ill mix up the weight, intensity, and exercises a little bit each time.

any specific questions let me know

thanks, ive always been curious where i would be with a cycle or 2 under my belt.... i have nothing serious planned out yet. im graduating college in bout 2 months and starting a job. i want to make sure im able to devote as much time as necessary to the gym as i do now before i start a cycle.

another reason i chose to wait is just becuase i kept seeing gains naturally. i didnt want to jump into a cycle too early when i know i wuld be able to get there on my own.. maybe one day

i eat the same things everyone else does i assume....normal eggs tuna chicken oatmeal rice steak if im lucky, im also not afraid of a good cheat day here and there, nothing really out of the ordinary

for a cycle, i still really havnt decided yet, im still learning everything i can about it so if i choose to later and be educated and have all of the basics covered

i started lifiting when i was about 14, but didnt know enough to put together a workout or diet, i just kinda went into the gym and copied other people or did what i thought looked right.

i got serious with my workouts about 4 years ago, saw some great results but couldnt put on enough weight. it was actually a year and half or so ago when i really started getting my diet in check, i thought i was eating enough throughout the day until i cam on this site and realized what needed to be done. and since then besides getting sick occasionally and some injuries ive been consistant which i feel is a major reason why im where im at

nah in the fall/winter time i eat like a pig, and have alittle more size and bloat in me ...i do burn fat quick which helps me out, but i lose most of my abs in that time. instead of having just 2 cans of tuna, i would throw in 4 slices of wheat bread to make some sandwitches. with the chicken/steak i would have some potatoes, etc.

i kind of look forward to the fall/winter so i can relax my diet a bit and eat some more of the foods i enjoy

Your upper body looks good and pretty proportional, but if I had to nit pick....I woudl say bring the lats up some (they already look good, but you can always use more lats, they can really make someone apear much larger). ALso, your arms are pretty proprtional to your body, but your bis are extremely well developed so maybe a little more added tricep mass would do you some good.

Back looks great as well. DO you deadlift? It looks like you might because you have some good thicknes back there, but you have great genetics so if you aren't already I woudl add them into your routine, they will do wonders.

Other than that, just keep adding mass all over (if that is your goal to get bigger) while keepign things proprtionate and you will look quite impressive (not that you don't already).

Other than that, just keep adding mass all over (if that is your goal to get bigger) while keepign things proprtionate and you will look quite impressive (not that you don't already).

great response i appreciate the time you took to give me some pointers...yeah in the pictures my lats are lagging behind a bit i'm going to focus on getting them a little wider from now on, my arms in general tend to grow quick but i will def focus more on puttin some more meat on the tri's , i do deadlift, prob not as often or as heavy as i should be but i know its important so i throw it in there

thanks again

It's easier to judge hamstrings from a side pose.

I train hamstrings on a separate day than quads to give them a full hour of work. I hit stiff leg deads, standing leg curls, laying leg curls then I do what I call ***** crunches. (Adductor machine. I do the whole stack plus add a few 45 plates.) I found by training my adductor it has filled out my inner thigh. When I'm standing relaxed my inner thighs touch lower. Plus it gives you a nice cut going all the way down to your inner thigh.

I expected a post like this to show up sooner. I can't speak for anyone else, but i question the reasoning behind lying about using any gear. What point would it prove? My self-esteem is fine, I dont need to get post a juiced up picture of myself, claim to be natural so I can be better then other people, and get compliments on myself. I do appreciate positive and negative comments, and all criticism ive recieved. I posted my pictures because i was proud i had progressed this well being natural, and was looking for weak spots to improve.each comment I recieved gave me more motivation to keep up the hardwork. Your post makes you appear insecure and jealous of what some people can achieve with hard work, dedication, and luck from genetics. I thank you for your post though, as it makes me stay natural and work a little harder.

I believe if he swears up and down that hes gigantic after a couple of cycles he should have no problem putting up some pics. if he "doesnt have any" or "cant find them" or "has to borrow his buddies camera" it just looks even worse. not really anything specific.
eat fairly clean but still enjoy myself
one body part a week, vary rep ranges, super sets, exercises OFTEN

the biggest thing i feel helps me out is consistancy and being mentally tough. the days where you dont want to goto the gym and theres 4 feet of snow, and a negative wind chill are the days that count. its not so much missing one workout, its the dedication of pushing through when you dont want to. the times when you could easily go out and drink but you stay in get your rest to get up early for the gym. stuff like that is what i feel made me what i am now. more so then diet and weights. you can learn how to eat and lift right, but you cant teach desire

You, my man, are INTENSE!

I like the work out ethic, like the attitude and would really like to have my body grow like yours did!

Great work!

And just my 2 cents - if you're thinking of competition - check out a show and you'll know if it's something you want to do or not.
If you do go that route I would work more on the forearms, legs, lats.
Triceps will come up naturally once you get in sync with the whole regiment for a show. (Well, at least I think so)

If you just want to keep lookin jacked like this - lats is about the only thing I can mention.

"Can't teach desire" - so true brother!
All the best,

Not trying to be negative. I look and I think if you were carrying the same amount of mass on the legs how much heavier/bigger you would be.

one body part a week

mon-chest
tues-back
wed-shoulders/traps
thurs-legs
fri-arms
sat,sun-off

mostly high volume training, usually 18 sets per body part big or small. shoulders day gets alittle more bc traps are in, and arms day gets alittle more b/c of forearms at the end. i vary the rep ranges as i feel necessary anywhere from 4-10 depending on the day and my mood.

upper body's got good mass. impressive bis as well. as far as the legs go, you've got a lot to work with because your quads stick out pretty far to the sides and they are pretty full (starting at the knees). you should work on your inner thighs a little more (wide squats).

overall = pretty huge, good work

Thats the exact split I was one, I liked it. I just was impatient (one of my downfalls) and switched to this split:

Mon-chest/tris/front delts

wed-legs/low back

fri-back/bis/forearms/traps/rear delts

this split is also working. I think the main thing is to just only do every bodypart once a week.Im noowhere near your size though.

So you never do more than 10 reps?

18 sets per bodypart, so is that basically 18 sets each workout? besides days with traps and forearms.

nothing crazy,

chest day has flat bb/db, incline bb/db, decline bb, weighted/unweighted dips, pullovers, flat/incline db flies, cable flies from top/middle/bottom, pushups....ill pick 6 and do em 1 week then pick a diff combo and do that the next week..

back is same thing i have a bank of exercises i choose from and vary it from workout to workout. nothing crazy, most of the same exercises everyone does here

if u want me to go into more detail just let me know

back day - wide grip weighted/unweighted pullups, close grip weighted/unweighted pullups, bb rows, one arm db rows, t-bar rows, seated cable row, standing one arm cable rows, wide/close grip pulldown, standing lat pullover, deadlifts, hyperextensions

shoulder/traps - bb press, db press, behind neck bb press, arnold db press, rear/lateral/front raises (all variations of) shoulder press machine, db/bb/ezcurl upright rows, shrugs, behind back shrugs, db shrugs

arms - bb/db/ez curl, curls, all variations of preacher work (db/bb/hammer/ezcurl) variations of cable work, close grip bench, skullcrushers, heavy pulldowns, reverse pulldowns, one arm forward/reverse pulldowns, dips...

again ill pick 3 compound exercises and 2 "isolation" exercises to focus on each week ad change them up the next week.

example 1 week will be flat bb press for chest followed by incline db chest press...week 2 will be incline bb chest press followed by flat db chest press...
