EAT

Its tough to critique your body now as your still starting out.
Best advice is just to get on a good high calorie bulking diet, and start lifting using heavy compound movements to put on some mass. I applaud you for posting your pic for advice, stick with everything and you will see great results. Keep us updated. goodluck

I know im not the best person to critique the diet, youll get ALOT of replies in teh diet forum section. RIght off the bat though, i would try and limit the supplementation a bit, try and get some more calorie rich foods in place of the shakes is at all possible.

I would try the 2nd meal plan I give you for about 6 weeks and see how it works for you. Also hit up the diet forum and do some more research. I'm pretty sure this meal plan would give you good results. Give it a shot. You got alot to gain and nothing to lose. :)

You are more built than I was when I started, I'm 5'9 210lbs 7yrs later. Keep at it. 3 things to stick by.

1. Learn everything there is to know about diet

2. Don't overtrain

3. Start every week with Legs.

N large is good but try and do less shakes and more whole food. Using this method and a routine based on heavy compound lifts (WBB1) I was able to put 20 pounds on naturally in 6 months and I started very close to your stats.

Please do not use this diet. I dont mean to flame but this diet is pretty awful IMO. That diet does not contain 247g protein either, maybe 200. Why would you have him eating meals that are purely carbs or a mix of just carbs and fat? Protein should be included in every meal, yet you list three without it.
My suggestion is post your diet in the diet forum where you will get more detailed and more educated responses.

Ahhh yes, second diet is much better my man. Well I never used a calorise calculator but I know must of the stuff by heart. Plus even with the macronutrient breakdown you provided the calories didnt add up to the total cals you listed. I try no to use calculators like that.
Simple rule is this:
1g protein = 4cals
1g carbs = 4cals
1g fat = 9cals

Now you dont need those damn online things lol.

hey bro, let me tell you something... I'm 18 years old right now - I've meddled with steroids a couple times but no serious cycles. I started working out at 16 years old at the end of my sophomore year. I was 6'2" 145lbs. I also had over 16% bodyfat at least. I was skinny and fat at the same time! I got tired of being made fun of for being so scrawny and I really wanted to play football - so I started working out 4 hours/day hard. 2hrs before school, 2hrs after, add to that football conditioning. I initially gained about 15lbs because my body was shocked having never worked out before. I got up to about 160-165lbs in about 3 months. The problem was I wasn't eating. My coach told me to "Eat like a horse and shit like a bird". So I did. for the whole summer I ate all-u-can eat pizza @ CiCis twice a day for 2 hours straight, had about 6 protein shakes a day, and at least 2-3 additional meals Equalling upwards of 9-11 thousand calories/day. I also set my alarm clock to wake up in the middle of the night to eat 2 peanut butter, jelly, and honey sandwiches.

From the Spring on Sophomore Year to the Fall of Juinior Year, I went from 145lbs to 215lbs - and mostly muscle was gained. My bodyfat increased by maybe 5%. I then began training smarter-not harder and cut out a lot of fat in my diet. I went from 215-245lbs in the next 2 months.

I gained a total of 100lbs in 7 months by eating like crazy and lifting really freaking hard. I kept my bodyfat somewjhat low by football training (plyometrics, jumprope, running, 7 on 7, off-season).

Now I'm 18 and I'm 6'2" 242lbs @ about 8% bodyfat. My first competition is in about a month. After gaining all that weight, my task was then to shape it the way I want it and then lose the excess bodyfat, so for the last year that's all I have been doing.

SUMMARY= Work Hard and EAT LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD! Once you get to the size you want, start cutting the fat off.

*Alex*

6 (3:30AM) PWO 50g whey 100g dextrose

7 (4:30AM) PPWO 2 chicken breasts, 1 cup brown rice

8 (7:00AM) 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 tablespoon flax oil

But I was going to suggest eating something in the middle of the night along with frequent meals during the day ( Never have your stomach hungry ). But you dont have to overeat either. I know it sounds crazy, that's why everybody in my school thought I was taking steroids. I only started the AAS after I gained all the weight to help me harden up and cut fat while still staying big. IMHO it is much easier to go from fat to beastly than to start from nothing. Maybe it won't work for everyone, but after two years of really hard work and doing what I said, I am unrecognizable. The only negative points are that I have aweful stretch marks now and I had high blood pressure (only when I initially gained the weight - it's fine now.)

Just a thought homie. Look into the muscle fitness 3 month workout program. The first month is a blitzing bulking workout. With a high calorie and protein diet i went from 163 to 190 all natural. Cell Tech, Whey protein, Glutamin aside. I have been as big as 220 on juice though before giving them and lifting up so i could serve the Lord. So i do have some muscle memory but everyone that has done it has at least put on 10-15lbs in four weeks. Just a thought. God Bless!
