I'm wanting to use diazide for my next show. Last show I used aldactone and injectable lasix. Needless to say, the lasix made me drop 8lbs the night before the show, I'm talking about 8lbs in 7hrs. I've never pissed like that ever in my life! This time I would like to include diazide with the aldactone. I would like to get some input on how to use the diazide from some of you competitors.

Diazide is preferred over lasix because its potassium sparing. you wont cramp up on stage. its also preferred over aldactone because you don't need to use it over several days before your show. forget about the aldactone and just use the diazide. cut your water when you feel comfortable whether its 3pm or 5pm then take 2 diazide. I usually take another around 9pm and one more upon waking up Saturday morning and one last one after pre-judging after my meal before night show and that's all you need. its going to work like the lasix did, dropping several pounds overnight. I lost as much as 10lbs. depending on how much water your body is holding. good luck, any more question just ask.

MrMent1on what would u recommend for somebody that only has aldactone on hand, iv'e heard conflicting views so I'm kinda confused?

Thanx Dog! The strength of the diazide pills are 80mg, are they usually that high of a dose?

Dyazide comes in 25mg

It's Diazide Gliclazide, but the medicine name is Diamicron. I guess I'll just break the pills in half.

the other brand name is Maxzide.... and i do believe it comes in 50mg and 75mg also
