for one of my meals I take a bar to work with me as I work in a public place and cannot stand there eating chicken ect so I have to eat a sneaky protein bar instead!! The meal I am replacing with the bar is a pro/fat so obviously I need a bar that has v low carbs. I currently use either dorian yates pro xs bar or garnell aspire 40. both bars state they only have around 5g of "impact carbs" the rest (about 17g) is made up of polyols. Is there a lower carb bar out there? What are your opinions on polyols and insulin levels?
