here are my stats- 27 y/o, 197 lbs BF% ? Started out at 227lbs 7 months ago. Thanks to diet and cardio I have lost 30 lbs and keeping it off. I wished I could get a little more leaner though. I am doing pretty good on my diet, it just seems to get tougher as time goes on. I eat alot of chicken and tuna, sweet potatoes, and veggies.6 meals a day, sometimes 4 or 5 due to a hectic work schedule. cardio at least 5 days a week. It seems like the last 6 weeks I have been at a stand still, does anyone know why this could be? I haven't lost a pound in 6 weeks. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with my progress, I just want to go a little farther. here are my pics. The first one is about 4 months ago, I weighed about 215-220 lbs. the next pics are recent.

Tommy, you look great man. Big props to you for your gains, I know that was no small feat. As I read your thread, I couldn't help but smile...I'm in the EXACT same boat you're in...started at 233 many months ago, and am currently at 205, but haven't lost a pound in about 4 weeks, and I've been training my ass off. I'll be curious to see if anyone gives you any suggestions on how to change things up and get the weight loss going again. Keep training hard though, I'm sure it will start to come back around eventually. Good luck to you!

when i was training to lose weight for boxing i went from 277lbs to 218lbs and met many plateaus along the way. most of the times if I was going intense in the gym and i picked it up even more, nothing would happen. i would often have to take a week or two and back things off a bit... even gain a pound or two and let the body rest/recover. after a week or two i would start up again and i would soon find myself losing even more weight than before. the body is tricky... sometimes you have to take one step back before you can take two steps forward.

keep up the good work...

Very nice progress... What time of day do you do cardio, as well as what time do you workout? If you workout in the afternoon/evening, what are your meals like from the post workout period until you go to bed? fats? carbs?

I try my very best to do cardio in the morning, sometimes it don't work out that way due to work and I end up doing it in the evenings. I usally try to work out about 4 times a week, and always get in a pro/ carb meal after a workout. I think I will just have to get a little more strict on my diet and cardio to lose those last couple of pounds. sometimes I fall of the wagon and have a cheat meal or 2 and that may be holding me back. I appreciate the encouragement everyone has given me. You guys are awesome.
