I was just wondering something. When you take orals such as pp, sd, var etc. its harsh on your liver so you take milk thistle to support healthy liver function. Plus there are a bunch of other support supplements your suppose to take such as red yeast rice, hawthorn berrys, niacin, flax capsules and lets say saw palmetto just in case. Now i dont know if this is a stupid question but i was wondering if you are taking all of those support supplements do they take any sort of toll on you liver also? Im not sure if they have to pass through you liver first but if they do that wouldnt that make your live work a lot harder to process this stuff? This was just something i started thinking about the other night and i figured i would ask to see what your opinions are on it. Hopefully you guys understand what im trying to get at here also. Thanks guys!

I researched FF Naicin and it said taking too much can be liver toxic.
Cuz i was like you, and started wondering, well it has to go through the liver.
But yeah, as far as I know, FF naicin can get it, but how much mgs? IDK.
yeah, heres the site for FF Naicin...and a little line from it::
Niacin can cause undesirable side effects such as skin flushing, stomach irritation, nausea, glucose intolerance, elevated blood levels of uric acid, visual disturbances and liver damage. Niacin supplements should only be taken under the supervision of a qualified health practitioner. To minimize the skin flushing, timed-release and sustained release forms of niacin have been manufactured, however, these products carry a greater risk of liver damage.

the thing about milk thislte is that there is little proof it does much of anything for the liver. I know somebodies going to disagree and show me a million studies. but to tell you the truth they don't even know how toxic these orals really are they make it sound like there really that bad but it is mostly people over reacting. why not just do injectibles its cheaper without all these support supplements and better gains

maybe some of the claims are a little overexaggerated maybe their not...but i think if someone chooses to use the "legal" stuff an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

everything goes through the liver.
your liver cleans your blood. and everything you put into your body gets absorbed through the blood.
none of the supplements are going to be noticeably taxing on your body enough to worry.
