Do I have to filter USP Oil?

I was under the impression that the USP cottonseed oil was sterile- but I just read a post where one of the mods said you had to filter oil from LION before using it to cut other products.

Whats the final word Lion?

It is steril till you open it. Use a .2 filter into a sealed vial or your final product.
