is it ok to run a mile a day 5 days a week after working out with weights or is that too much running and will inhibit growth?

most members here don't advocate running at all. HR gets too high. fast walking on an incline to keep HR at 70% of max is what is usually recommended

it depends on what your trying to accomplish. If its bulking up, thats def. not a good idea.
I don't like running personally, unless its on a track. The regular ground is just too hard and takes a toll on your knee joints.
What are your goals?

1. running isnt necessary
2. the distance u run/walk is totally irrelevant
3. abs= diet + cardio...not cardio+drugs so hopefully you have ur diet inline as well
there are millions of threads on here about cardio but i will say if ur going to do cardio pwo i'd do 30 minutes no more than 5 days a week depending on how high ur bf% is and i would walk/cycle and keep ur heart rate around 65%max thats all u need not running miles...also if ur trying to lean out i'd make sure my weight sessions were high intensity
