View Full Version : Kidney/Urinary Cleanse

So, if you don't know, I'm battling with 2 kidney stones right now.
The nurse said for now, just drink lots of water and a good amount of cranberry juice.

But I was thinking of taking some kind of kidney/urinary cleanse supplement. Would that help out? If so, whats a good brand or something good to get?

mega dose cranberry extract, usa urvi, water. nothin else really exists.

actually if you look into Himilaya proucts, same company that makes Liv.52 for liver, they have a very good herbal product for kidneys. i think it was called 'cystone' or something like that. i have a bottle but havent tried it yet.

Bigsexy that sucks bro. feel better, kidney stones are the pits. Have they recomended the sound wave bath to you? You sit in this tub for like an hour and they send sound waves through that break up the stones. I think my mom had it done, and it worked real well.

lol hell yeah they are the pits. They can bring a strong man to his knees.
About the shock thing, no. My bro has had it done before, but they haven't suggested it to me though. Im probably gonna need it, cuz 1 of the stones is 7mm, which they say is rather large and has like a 3% passage rate by itself.

Anywho, thanks for the replies, and keep them coming everyone. Im gonna look into those supps and hopefully feel better and try to pass these bad boys.

As far as megadosing cranberry extract, how many mg's is that? In addition to the 2 glasses of cranberry juice Im drinking a day.

im talking as much as you can. usual dose is like 400mg or somethin like that but when I take it I grab the biggest bottle for the cheapest I can find and dose it at around 2 grams per serving at least twice a day.

But its up to you how much you really want to take...
