Whats up! Just wanted to put up my pics one day out from my show. Im 180lbs right now, gotta get down to 176, no problem once i stop drinking. Gotta give a shout out to my guy Spound who put together my entire prep for me. The kids a f*ckin genius, and has HUGE amounts of knowledge. I ENCOURAGE people to get in contact with him for future preps, cause he helped me take my body to teh next level. Id also like to give a thanks to my guy GettnJakked. Without him, i dont think i would have made it through these sixteen weeks. Hes up next week, so wish me and him good luck.

Now, if we can get you to hold that condition through to morrow with a tiny bit extra dryness and a little more fullness you will be dead on 100%.
Just for the record guys, I couldn't have asked for a better guy to prep, Uconish is VERy dedicated and busted his ass on this prep. He listened to everything I said to a "T" and he deserves to reap the rewards now.
P.S.- I'm not a genius, I just have wayy too much interest in this stuff for my own good LOL

bro you looked great Saturday nite! did not deserve the placing you got. I think there were alot of messed up placings, your placing sucked, and Ry got screwed as well. But that is the bs that goes with bodybuilding. Keep on working hard bro, you made huge improvements and are on the right track to taking 1st place. Stay motivated, stay hungry and take it in Dec, or whenever you decide to do another show!

Bull Sh*t is exactly right! You don't get that dry or vascular without being in condition....you obviously didn't kiss the right person's ass! "Sorry for the placing, keep your chin up, you looked great!

It wasn't that we didn't have in you in condition, your condition was spot on. you just had a little bit of water accumulate in the lower abs before pre-judging and we didn't have you as tight as I would have liked until the night show (where you were DEAD on). It seems to have just been a timing issue is all since we were toying wit the obstacle of having to make sure you would be able to make the middleweight cut-off. THat's the way it goes, although the placings were still pretty questionable. I wish you had some better pics of the whole lineup. Now that I know your body better, timing shouldn't be an issue.

I know that my condition was SPOT ON. I just found it funny that the judge said i needed to IMPROVE my condition. Yeah, i might have been holding SOME water near my belly button, but everyone else was holding in their hams and especially in the GLUTES.

Look great Uconish but I'd agree your lower abs were holding a bit of fat/water and your quads were also not as striated as the other competitors.
Great job and nice progress for sure.
Btw, your condition wasn't SPOT ON otherwise the judges wouldn't have told you otherwise. You could've been much drier IMO. Take what you can from this contest and better yourself for the next one. Try different carb sources next time that will dry you out better, it's a learning experience.
For novice it looks like your competition was insane, I'd be very happy with your placing if I were you.

Take a look at the night show pics...can you still say the same thing? Feathered glutes and fingers on his hamstrings?? He was off in the morning...I will agree with that, it was a timing issue...the night show seemed pretty on point to me. The judges even said the same thing...he was dead on at night, but holding water in the morning. There are many times where you will see a competitor say "I was holding too much water" when, in fact, they were actually still holding a couple extra lbs of body fat, but this was not the case in this instance. He was obviously as lean as he needed to be (look at the glutes, hams, lower back) he just held water from the front in the morning show...namely in the quads and abs....I do not think you can say the same for the night pictures on stage?

Yea he looked great in the night show, agreed.
I wasn't trying to take anything away from him but the way he was talking was like he came in perfect which was not the case, therefore it showed in his placing.
Was in no way trying to bash you Uconish but rather giving you a different perspective, you looked badass and your physique is very symmetrical and proportioned. Sometimes a competitor's attitude can also affect placing, they want to see you go in there having fun and enjoying yourself on stage.
Who knows?
Either way props on your show and good to see you had a great guy behind you, Spound is the man ;)

I was there and you were right on. You looked phenomenal. Really conditioned, great proportion with great size too. Your legs and arms really looked phenomenal. I would say 3/4 of the placings were questionable. I can't believe that Hardway guy won, and ry took second. There were more then a few BS Calls and yours was one of the worst placings of the nite. Like I said before just stay motivated and keep on fighting. Don't let the blind knock you off track. Keep it up bro

Just to clarify, I was not inferring that you were trying to take anything away from him. I just had the impression from your post that you were saying he was holding fat, which was obviously not the case when you see the night show pics. It was just a water/timing issue in the morning which probably wouldn't have ever occurred if we weren't having to worry about squeezing into the middles. I got nothing but respect for you IB, you know that, I just wanted to clarify, you had me a little confused with your post there.
I must say, I agree with the attitude statement you made...couldn't agree more actually.
Let me know if you need some help with your next prep IB ;) LOL
