View Full Version : Clomid ***ression?

I just came off a 12 week test/deca cycle and I'm running "old school" pct with clomid. I started on June 14...and all of a sudden I am an emotional wreck.
My girlfriend broke up with me because I was freaking out and getting emotional over everything (not returning a phone call). Now, I'm having SERIOUS issues dealing with the breakup.
I've used clomid before, and I don't remember feeling this way. Is it possible that this compound is ****ing with my head?

yes sir. i never got this on clomid. but i would switch over to nolva. a lot of guys have had some serious ***ression problems while on clomid. thats why everyone recomends nolva now. to many sides on clomid

I never had a problem with clomid but constantly read of others going through emotional change. You would be better off with Nolva/hcg and an ai. Sorry about your breakup.

aromasin and nolva maybe some HCG if need be.. but most importantly you need to man up and suck up all the emotional BS and remind yourself that you're extra emotional due to hormone levels and think before you express those emotions to others.. Once you feel like yourself go get your girl back not a second earlier.

IMO, the higher dosages are what brings about these emotional problems. In theory, if the dosage is kept at around 25mg/ED, the emotional sides won't rear their ugly head.
Try backing off on your dosage.

I'm running 100mg a day until thursday..when I back it off to 50mg a day for 2 weeks.
Thanks for all the advice guys. Hopefully my girl isn't too far gone by the time I level out. It was a pretty new relationship but I thought it was the real deal...maybe it still is.
Thankfully she knew about the clomid, so maybe she'll be understanding in the future if we ever talk again.

Sorry about your breakup, bro. I hope it all works out best for you, with or without her.

Is Clomi still effective at this low dose of 25mg? Or is this the dose after tapering down from higher mgs?

I would get off of the clomid as soon as possible, just go with nolva for your pct and add in some exemestane and hcg.

I use clomid and nolva as well. Never had any bad sides from it. At low doses it has always been great for me. Sometime I will add hcg or another AI like letro depending on the cycle.
