I'm in a bind...

Just started my cycle.

My HRT doc wants me to do bloodwork mid October and I have a referral for it. Now, how do I get out of it?

I was thinking to dismiss it - not sure if they track the dates or not. This could buy me some time. I figure, mid-Jan or towards the end of Jan I would be ready for bloodwork.

Any ideas?

Obviously, I don't want to stop the cycle.

Take the bloodwork when YOU want to....you can always say you're work wouldn't let you take time off or something...the docs work for you :)

I agree, it is not like a urine test or something work related. Reschedule the appt for a later date. They don't care at all!

I agree, but it might raise suspicion on his part. Besides, a lot of places offer blood tests on the weekend.

Oh well, will play it by the ear.
