I jsut go my tattoo done a few hours ago. I wanted to know from a few bros that know If I am able to lift weghts?
Or is there the possibility to do cardio?

depends where it is. If its arms no problem. If its back and you have to lie on it I would give it a few days

i get ink work done bout once a month or so..
stings like hell when u sweat.. no reason not to work out

You can work out, but your persperation will make it sting. Don't wet it any further. The worst thing you can do is soak it and displace the ink.

Just put tons of lotion on it for several days and don't pick at the scabs because it will remove the ink.

I advice you work out and attain a light sweat before you lift because your sweat will, more or less, lubricate the cells of your skin so that the skin will bend when you lift.

Otherwise, the new skin and scab will break when you pull or push.
I know because I have my upper back tatted 4 years ago, and I was lifting boxes until tat's scab pulled open.

That lifted the ink just enough that I had to get a touch up two weeks latter.

Yeah it tends to sting like a mofo when you have new tatt and you workout. Although like tai said no real reason not to.

i wait 3-4 days the sweat can blur the tattoo it happened to 2 of my friends so i wouldnt risk bluring it. Work out wise its easy to handle. Let the ink dry.
