I have an operation coming up early next year, which is why im delaying my first cycle. Though my body fat is reasonably high atm (16-18 percent) so I need to do some serious cutting. Here are my two options:

Option 1-

Jan 17: Operation, roughly 2 weeks down time
Feburary 1: Start cutting (natrually) 6-8 weeks
Mid or late March: Start 1st cycle
Early or mid July: Start PCT while still maintaing high calories throughout

Option 2:

Jan 17: Operation, roughly 2 weeks down time
Feburary 1st: Start lean bulking (first cycle; Dianabol and Test E)
May 1st: After last Test E shot, start cutting
May 14th: Start PCT while cutting
April 7th: Continue cutting for another 2-4 weeks

Is it ok to cut during PCT? Or is that just going to make things worse and make me waste away some serious muscle? Is it best to cut first if i plan on juicing?

Cut before you start the cycle. You could prime for the cycle if you wanted to which could help you respond to your cycle much better.

What is priming?

What is priming?

Basically, you follow a low carb diet for several weeks and then once you start the cycle you increase carbs up to whatever amount you typically eat. This, coupled with an oral of some kind or short acting ester to kick start the cycle, will ensure great gains within the 1st several weeks of the cycle. In all honesty, I'm not a big fan of it but a lot of people absolutely love priming. It's very similiar to entering a contest. After weeks of lower carb dieting followed by increased carbs post-contest a lot of guys find themselves making great gains. If you chose to prime definately include some type of oral such as anavar or dbol.

Is it ok to cut during PCT? - No, don't do that. You're asking for muscle catabolism, which is what you DO NOT want.
Or is that just going to make things worse and make me waste away some serious muscle? (see above answer)
Is it best to cut first if i plan on juicing? depends on your BF%. If you are above 14%, then cut.. if you're less than that, then no need. But like scrat said, cutting also doubles up as priming, which you may still choose to do even if you have a low BF%.

Thanks guys for the info. I'll give priming a shot, and stick to low carbs while i cut, and up them when i hit the Dbol.

I just hope the gains i make from priming are actual muscle.
