Depends on your situation now.. Have blood work done.. If your natural testosterone levels are below the norm.. then taking a HRT dose of test will make you feel like a new man..

HRT is the concept of shooting a weekly dose of testosterone that your Dr. prescribes to you that replaces your natural test (for whatever reason)

We are the same age, it's likely your natural test is low enough to qualify. When you see the doc tell them you have low energy and a really low sex drive, they should schedule bloodwork and go from there.

I'd go to a gen prac, he will refer you to an endocrinologist. I'm not sure what it costs though. How old was your bro when his was checked?
