View Full Version : Questions for the over fifty guys

I am fifty plus, 5'9", 190 lbs. I run a couple of cycles a year for strength of test prop and anavar. The cycles are short, usually 8-12 weeks. I run about 400mg of test and the last 4-5 weeks add in 50mg of anavar. I get very muscular and strong during this time but after the cycle the fat returns and the strength drops off rapidly and I have to spend months getting back to normal. I use aromasin/nolva/clomid during pct. but it just seems like it takes forever to get my libido back and lately have had more ed also. So here's my question. Do you think I should be thinking HRT. (Doc always tells me I have above normal test levels although I don't really know what that means). Do I need to concentrate on diet? I eat pretty clean and strict now and don't take in a lot of calories. Should I consider cialis or viagra for the ed? I work out very heavy and do lots of different cardio and cross training. I want to get back to the lean and strong shape I use to be in without AS supplementation if possible or at least at lower doses. I realize that is a lot of questions but any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm over fifty also. I have never ran one cycle since I had access to AAS and this is going on for three years now. I can't even run a short cycle of 4 weeks before some damn physical injury flairs up. Believe this or not, my neck, shoulders, and back injuries occurred while SLEEPING!!! My arms are tingling from my shoulders to the fingertips and there is numbness as well.
Lifting is impossible because I can only manage the weight for a few seconds.
Since I can't cycle because of the injuries, there isn't any need for PCT, however, I do have proviron on hand, no other anti-estrogen.
I would definitely go for the HRT. Takes a whole lot of stress out of you then
ordering illegal goods. Your doctor doesn't jack shit about test levels! they all go by some statistics crap! I beg and pleaded with my two docs at the V.A.M.C. for HRT and ED pills when I turned 40! Nothing! If your doc won't prescribe ED pills, there are other ways to obtained them legally through the Internet. A change in diet would only entail that you eat good healthy, nutritious foods. There are so many protein supplements to choice from and I'd be biased if I wrote down my favorites. I hope this may help a bit! TCC

I am just about to turn 53 and in my mind there is no doubt you should be on HRT. I cycle as well and I just run 100mg Test E a week and 0.25 mg Arimidex EOD. I also get regular blood Tests to ensure everything is working as it should.
