Here's the deal, im 21 almost 22. Im wanting to get back into working out. I'm at about 130-135 pounds and i've never weighed more. I've posted a few pics to show my structure. I think im decently strong for my size. In these pics i weighed around 125 and benchin 255. It takes me about a month to rip up like that from me not even working out for a year. BF% isn't the problem....it's the weight. I've took muscle milk etc and i gained like 3 pounds in 2 1/2 months. Im thinkin about juicin` but i have a 10 panel drug test ( can i pass it w/ juice? ).

any advice is a + thanks!

(btw i workout with heavy weight ONLY!) for some reason it rips and doesnt build.

ill post more pics later.

***the picture on the left was after the muscle milk, at the end of 3 months, the angle adds to definition...the one on the right is before any protein. Also, whats ur guess on my BF%, i've never had it measured.

Thanks ahead of time.

If u are training on a 3 day split with maxes for mazor body parts there is no way u are not growing! Is this how u train? If u train like this then ur problem is ur diet! One of this two is not well planed....
And PLEASEEE don't even mention again about u taking weight because of protein shakes:icon_piss!The only reason u took weight with muschle milk is its high cals!So go and read the diet forum.....there is no way ur diet is proper for mass!

What you need is this

Meal 1: Pro/Carb

8 Egg Whites, 1 Scoop Of Whey Protein, 1 cup oatmeal

50g protein / 54g carbs / 5g fat

Meal 2: Pro/Fat

Lean Ground Beef, ¼ cup swiss cheese, green veggies

55g protein / 2g carbs / 20g fat

Meal 3: Pro/Carb

Chicken Breast, 1 and a half cup Brown Rice

55g protein / 64g carbs / 3g Fat
**Disclaimer: Meal 3 can be a pro/fat meal if you are ultra sensitive to carb intake.

Meal 4: Pro/Fat

2 Cans of Tuna, 1 Tbsp Full Fat Mayonnaise, Veggies

60g protein / 2g carbs / 13g Fat

Workout

Meal 5: PWO Nutrition

2 Scoops Whey Protein / 80g of Dextrose

40g protein / 80g carbs / 0g fat

Meal 6: PPWO

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, ½ cup Brown Rice (Measured Uncooked)

50g protein / 70g carbs / 3g fat

Meal 7: Pro/Fat

Lean Protein of your choice, 2 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
50g protein / 5g carbs / 18g fat

Meal 8: Before Bed

3 Scoops of Whey Protein, 1.5 Tbsp. Flax Seed Oil

60g protein / 3g carbs / 21g Fat

That turns into approximately 420 grams protein, 250 grams Carbs, and 83 grams of fat. This is roughly 3500 calories

my height is roughly 5'8" to 5'9".

No, my diet isnt under control...but i do eat everything in sight...not saying it's red meat etc though. Ill cruise the diet forum. i just dont see how im expected to eat 8 meals a day at 135 lbs lol. Idk what it was but the shakes were about to kill me...maybe it was all the dairy? Like i said, im new to this and im just tired of being the ripped little guy. Thanks again for the advice (going to cruise the diet forum). But i just dont see how im supossed to eat 8 meals a day. My appetite is very small to begin with, i know you'll say...just eat more, but it's rough.

You have a great structure, all you need to do is develop it, and you already have quite a bit of muscle for your size so I think you have it made. Hoping your genetics are not too bad, do the right thing and you will end up looking great years down the track.

All the best to you.

I was working out everyday...I've never really had a structured workout either...pretty much go in and do 5 4 3 2 1 1 1 1 etc... high weight (i bench religiously). after the 5 4 3 2 1 1 1 1 i push myself till i break down. This may not be good, but that's why im listing it here so ill know lol.

Everyone keeps sayin diet, yeah diet is muy importante but you gotta lift HEAVY every set, to failure. do no more than 6-7 reps, maybe even 4-5 on ur last set with the heaviest possible weight. If u can do 10 reps of a weight then your not going heavy enough. Mass builds when you lift HEAVY, and do compound exercises like squats, deads, bench, standing curls.. use freeweights only when possible... 4get the machines for now. if u can get a workout partner or SPOT i cant emphasize how beneficial it is to be able to squeeze out 1-2 more forced reps of an exercise.. thats when ur shit will start to grow bro.. good luck u got a good foundation.. plus with ur metabolism u should have to problem eating everything in sight, even JUNK food galore.. hav fun!!

eating isnt EVERYTHING.. if u dont train right u arent gonna grow either..

wow, all of this positive feedback. Most people are like...*flame flame flame* lol. My sets with bench are always high weight...i try to do a pyramid of 5 4 3 2 1 and when im at 1 i always push myself for 5 more lbs and do another until i cant do anymore. Yes my metabilism is rediculous...im probably burning fat right now typing lol. But, if you're not a little guy, you really dont know how much of a curse it is. Im planning a diet and gonna stick to it...ill post pics every 2-3 weeks to show change since my body does tend to mold fast...i just hope it puts on weight this time. Thanks again!!!

**oh, and Largerthannormal, 255 is my max man. well it was when i was at my peak**

Heres a sample of my diet we are about the same exact size so I hope this helps.

So far since 03/19/08 a sample of my daily diet would be:

8am
Oatmeal and muscle milk collegiate shake 40grams protien and 580 cal not including the whole milk.

10am
Apple granola trail mix etc.

Noon
either two PGJ's or other sandwiches. and a V8 juice

2pm
another sandwich or something similar/pasta/chicken/

415-530pm
Lift

Post workout
Muscle milk shake

6pm
after I get home, 1 can of tuna (in water) with BBQ sauce.

Approx. 8pm
Dinner= 5 chicken drumsticks/16 chicken nuggets/a steak, etc. with raw vegatable like a whole tree of Broccoli and with ranch dressing.

10-11pm
MuscleMilk Collegiate shake with whole milk and three scoops of vanilla ice cream.

and if I wake up at 3am like I did last night after leg day I drink another shake.

That pretty much sums up what I am eating. And with a bodyweight such as mine it is not that easy but I am forcing myself to do it.

I sometimes work some weird hours and get a lot of overtime, so I have to adjust and make things work.

hope this helps.

And also check out calorieking.com for calculating calories.

Good luck,

Its not something that will happen over night, you can gain a sold 2-4 pounds of solid muscle month if you keep lifing and eating right, best thing I have found is eat 5 smaller meals a day, you will get use to it and you won't get full, but remember it takes time and, if you keep at it the gains will come, btw if you keep with Squats, you will gain size :)...Good Luck

heh dude its all about FOOD.

you wanna get big eat big.

go eat 5000 + calories a day (ground beef helps)

get your protein eat and lift big. then cut it all down. train hard for a while getused and learn how to workout, then repeat the same process with anabolics and youwill get huge.

eat and lift man, good luck.

you can gain weight but i highly doubt that you can gain 2-4 a month as LEAN MASS. you can gain 5-10 pounds a month if you eat enough buts fat and water.

phil heath took 1 year off so a 2 year difference and he only weighed about 15 pounds more which is incredible!!!!. a few pounds of lean mass makes u look huge.
