Im a little confused with the Insulin spike.
Is any kind of sugar going to do this?
In my N-Large2 weight gainer theres around 26g of sugar per serving.
Will this cause the insulin spike for me and therefore I would be overdoing it by adding Dextrose/Glucoze to the shake.
Also will banana and oranges cause an Insulin spike as they are high in sugar?

Sinse u bought a gainer take it post workout.I would not add anything to it,not even a banana/orange!Finish it and after that just go with a shake of 1xProtein+2xDextrose.U could also add a fruit and drop dex a bit....Its up to u

No!I meant take the gainer as a post workout shake.When the tube is empty,then try a shake with dex and protein for a post workout shake!

Ok I think I understand.
Iv 10lb tub of N-Large 2 and a 11lb tub of 90+ Protein.
The gainer is protein and sugar premixed but its cheaper to use normal whey Protein and add my own Dextrose???
Is that right?
I usually do my morning shake like this....
30g of "Protein 90+"
Low fat non bio yogurt 300ml
Frozen strawberries and banana
Pumpkin seeds 25g
Oatmeal 80g
Orange juice 250ml
Flax seed oil 5ml
Its over 800kcal
Would I be right in thinking this is better than any weight gainer???

Making ur own dex+protein shake is cheaper (dex is very very cheap) and far better than using a gainer!
I like ur morning shake and i surely think its waaaay better than any gainer!

Do 50gr of whey proteins and 70-100gr of dex PWO.
