View Full Version : finasteride, when to take and dose?

Can anyone tell me what is the correct dose for finasteride? Should it be taken morning or afternoon? With or without food?

I am going to take it to help with urination not for the hair loss. So last question, how long does it take to start helping with the piss problems? I know it takes a while to assist in hair growth but is it the same for prostate?

Take it first thing in the morning, 5 mg, food is irrelevant. Takes about six months to really notice a difference

I take it anytime ed, i didnt know there was a recommended time to take, but yes it does take at least 6 months....its worth it be patient....i also use that rogaine mouse and nixoral shampoo, results have been pretty impressive....after all the aas use my hair has really thinned out and this stack helped...

Dont know if this will help or not but I take proscar (finasteride),did a little research and found there is no difference between taking one tab or1/4 tab but any less there is a difference. Helped me because its expensive here in aus.

How much do you pay for it there (aust) dude? I get it for about 700 Baht ($26.00 Aussie) here in Thailand. Are you taking it for hair or prostate? If for prostate how long before you could piss again normally?

Oker I think its around $80 for 30x5mg tabs and no its a hair thing.

Yes I know it's a hair thing dude - lol, but it's used for prostate problems as well. 80 bucks is too much. Granted I pay about 26 for 14 but about 40 bucks for 30 tabs - you could get it cheaper from me dude - lol
