proscar or propecia

I can get some proscar 5mg real cheap, i was wondering would it be better to use propecia 1 mg or cut proscar since its 5mg and use it??

The product is the same its just the quantity that differs. Just get the cheaper one.

Cut up the 5mg tablets into quarters (5ths is too hard). That's what I've been doing, it works out much cheaper, my doctor even recommended it.
