Needles / Syringes Over the Boarder

Since you cant buy needles and syringes at stores in Cali:

- Can you buy them at pharmacies in all other states?

- Is it lawful to pick some up when in AZ or Vegas and drive them back?

- If they were found at the customs check point, would it be an issue?
