Sorry so late on this reply......the best thermogenic I've ever taken was called "Fyre" by Sytrax. You can get it from bodybuilding.com. Around $30/bottle. I took it with black powder......I was energized to the extreme. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone with a heart condition. It is good stuff.

Boy this questions asked a lot. ECA is the best in my opinion. Search...

ECA would not be a good choice. Both act on beta-2 receptors, the reason you lay off clen is to clear them up but if you run 2 weeks eca then 2 weeks clen you arn't letting them clear and are wasting your supps. I'd suggest an over the counter fat burner.

Ephedrine has minimal beta 2 effect. Its primary mechanism of action is to increase presynaptic release of norepinephrine. It exerts itself as a thermogenic via Norepi's beta 3 activity. Norepi exerts beta 2 effect as well, making ephedrine a bronchodilator.
Clen is billed as a selective beta 2 agonist which is very different from ephedrine, but both would never the less exhibit cross tolerance. Clen is known for its beta 2 effects because it is an asthma medication. Today no one in this country uses it for asthma and instead the little discussed beta 3 is the sought after property, inducing lipolysis.

So your saying alternating 2 weeks of each shouldn't be much of a problem?

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I think your assessment was right. Ultimately, even though it is norepi doing the leg work for ephedrine you are still acting on the same receptor in the end to stimulate lipolysis. To whatever extent stimulation is going to lead to down regulation of the receptors it is going to happen if you are taking clen or ephedrine and switching won't reverse the problem.
That said, where does the two weeks come from? Is that when most report subjectively feeling it is not working or is there some data which shows the thermogenic effect dramatically slows at that point? The subjective mental effects do not rely on the same receptors as lipolysis or bronchodilation. One can use beta 2 agonists for asthma and never have resistance to their effects.

But whats the dosage that the asthmatics use in comparison to use bodybuilders? Typically a cycle is as follows.
Days
1 60mcg
2 80mcg
3 80mcg
4 100mcg
5 100mcg
6-14 120mcg (or higher possibly)
