Now i apoligis if this has been asked many of times but...

Is this worth taking? I always debate whether ill notice or see anything from it or wether its something that's over rated or pointless.

I have some creatine 700mg tabs, it says to take 6 aday, but are they really worth the money or can i do just as well without them?

creatine is a great product. I cycle it all year, everyday.

creatine supplementation makes your body retain water... so the majority of the weight you gain on creatine will eventually be pissed out. But that said, it is proven to increase strength, and definitely does. (make sure you drink lots of water)

anyways run it like this:

loading phase: (week 1) - 20g of creatine each day. take 5g four seperate times a day
maintenance phase: (week 2) - 5g - 7g each day
maintenance phase: same as above
loading phase (week 4) - 20g of creatine each day

if you have them - give them a try. Its not harmful in any way ...and you can see for yourself if it helps you. I personally have tried creatine on a few occasions ....for me it doesnt seem to do anything. Its one of the few , proven effective in about 60% of the people , studied and documented supplements. Id give it a try. If u like the tabs you have id then just buy a tub of micronized creatine monohydrate and use that in the future - that route is cheaper im sure .... JMO...

I personally have never cycled it because after a few weeks of being off of it my endurance and strength goes down, so I just stay on 5-10g a day year round.

im a newb,,,but i feel like i know more about these things tehn ppl on here for years, let me say this .Its proven that creatine works. But 90 percent of the ppl using it are still using that creatine monohydrate,But in fact this isnt absorbed as well as CREATINE ETHYL ESTER u can find this anywhere.best place is nutrabulk , I use 3 750 mg caps 20 mins before a work out. Then 20 mins after a work out. But it being CREATINE ETHYL ESTER you only need to drink 12 oz of water per serving. Also take 6 caps on non work out days with splitting the 6 into 3 and 3 on any meal of your choosing. 1000 caps 750 mg,nutra bulk rnd 45 bucks.

Yes it is absorbed better in the body but it doesnt get absorbed as well into the muscles as monohydrate.

Creatine works great for me. I just recently cycled it and went from doing 295 for bench reps to 305 for reps. After I cycled off of it for awhile I was down a few reps then when I was on creatine. But I can still do more than before I started and I was stuck at a plateu for over an month and the creatine helped break it.

i love using creatine. I usually mix glutamine/creatine in my water bottle and sip throughout and a little right afterwards along with a quick carb to replenish glycogen stores and get ready for the next day. It has been proven that creatine is useful. Your body uses creatine phosphate to restore ATP in the phosphagen system for quick bursts of energy (exercises lasting 3-15 secs like quick heavy lifting). Longer less strenuous exercises uses glycogen and fats for energy.
