I 've been researching different PCT ideas and pretty much most are of the consensus of the necessity of using Clomid, Nolvadex,HCG, AI. The question I have here, however, is regarding Tribulus.
I purchased Mick Hart's magazine and in one of his articles he suggests using a more natural method. He recommended a total of 4000 mgs of trib and 15 mgs of zinc in the following manner:
morning - 2000 mg trib
bed time - 2000 mg trib + 15 mg zinc.
If I remember correctly, this protocol was recommended for a 4 week period.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried PCT such as this before? Also, would you recommended it?
Finally, if this is not a recommended method, can you see any value to using tribulus and zinc alongside one of the chemicals (ie Clomid) for PCT?
I'm especially interested in cycling Equipoise and Winnie (maybe adding some test).
Here is a sample of the cycle I was thinking of...
week 1-12 Equipoise
week 7-12 Winstrol
week 1-12 test e
still undecided on what PCT to use
PS: I currently weigh 165 lbs with 8-10% body fat. Incidentally, other than a 2.5 year absence of training, I have been lifting naturally since the age of 20 . (I am now 40)

Wow bro. Tribulus for PCT? And idk where this came from, the idea of using Zinc for PCT.
I understand that Zinc, along with other natural vitamins and minerals can raise T levels, that doesnt mean they are things that should be used in PCT for any other reason than supplementation.
Now onto the real issues, and thats obviously your diet.

I dont thinking running a OTC pct would be a smart idea and yeah never heard of trib + zinc combo being used to raise test. And as for diet there are some great stickies on this forum you can read about diets. I read a good post about putting your body in a catobolic state where the breakdown is 40% protein, 40% carbs, and 20% fats should get some good gains from this

I've been doing a lot of research the past couple of months and read this protocol on Mick Hart's No Bull magazine. He is the only one recommending this and this is why I wanted to run it on this sight. Wanted to see what real world BB athletes think .
I would never try something like this unless absolutely, 100% certain. If I do decide to do a cycle, I want to have everything in place and scheduled correctly...I'm in no hurry to screw things up!!

It's a load of bollox.
Trib and zinc will do nothing to help restore HPTA function.
TBH i think Mick is an arse for recommending this and most of his ideas are terribly outdated anyway.

i took 6,000 mg trib, 3 pills x2 day with clomid 50ed and nolva 20ed.
im still taking 1,000 mg trib a day just bc comes in huge bottle
alot of ppl reccomend higher clomid but it gives me alot of sides.
zinc makes u jizz more(so does clomid tho), def advise it if u didnt use hcg as i didnt.

Gettingjacked, how long did you use the 50 Clomid and 20 Nolva? Was it the standard 3 weeks and did you use 6000 mg trib for the same amount of time?

I asked him if he told this to all the teenagers that come in to buy tren xtreme and are told that ZMA is a good pct..... he went silent
Than i told him to take a knife and run into it :bbiwin:

hope you're planning on running some test with that proposed cycle. I'm assuming you just left that out by accident since you say you've been doing some research.

Tribulas has been proving to raise testort levels in men that naturally have low test levels. However it is nothing compared to what clomid does.
