Hey bros, just wondering how long i can run arimedex. im on hrt and 200mg c a week. is this a long term drug or should you cycle? maybe we will say like 3months or somthing? nipples starting to get a little puffy.

most guys need an AI to keep E2 under control so i think you will always need it but the dose can change with age and body fat.

Keep in mind Ai's can affect your gains..

Have you had any recent bloodwork done to see exactly where your estro levels are to help decide if you should consider using one - or not ??

hey merc thanks. ya estro was around 85 pg i think. when it should be 35. rerason i say think cause not sher if pg is right. lol

Keep in mind Ai's can affect your gains...

i'd love to know where this came from. if "gains" refers to not puffy looking then yes, an AI will make you less puffy looking because you won't hold as much water.

when your E2 is high it kills your Free T which kills your gains so i'm not sure why someone started saying an AI will affect your gains.

AI's reduce estrogen levels too much which effects Growth factors( GH , IGF) and reduces gains.

Do a search on here and you will see that a lot of peeps are having greatly reduced gains.. Keep in mind estrogen is anabolic ( helps to build muscle)..

If you like you can check out this thread with my Estrogen AI effecting gains article .. It was edited and published in Muscular Development mag ( last year)... When estro is to high or to low it can cause problems ..

But the whole point of taking arimidex is to get the estrogen to a normal level?

I will also start taking arimidex soon hopefully and after a few weeks i will have my estrogen-level checked and if to high/low the dosage will be corrected.

Anyway most sideeffects i found concern women, not much data on sideffects in men. I have tried finding it myself.

The sides women get can probably not be transfered to men because our goal is to normalize estrogen. Women with breastcancer will get unnormally low estrogen thus it effects bone and heart.

correct, E too low or too high can cause problems but that's not a result of the AI.

Just watch your blood work. If your E2 is high kick up the AI if it's low back it off. It will also boost your test numbers so keep an eye on that as well.
