I've done some reading on r-ALA and I want to know if I have the dosing right.

For every 100g of complex carbs I would use 200mg of r-ALA.
For every 100g of simple carbs I would use 300mg of r-ALA.

Is this correct and has anyone gone beyond these doses and noticed better results.

Thanks!

Yes the range is 30-50g of carbs Use 100mg r-ALA, it depends on your insulin sensitivity and some other things. I have found 40g to be good. As for the simple and complex issue, I have had better luck spreading the dosage out when taking complex carbs, say 100mg when you start eating and then another 100mg (granted you are getting 100g of carbs) 15-30mins after (depending on the GI value of the complex carbs). Still go with the same ratio of r-ALA to carbs, saves money this way. :) Plus it works better IMO.
