When is the date of the draft again? ie) when do I have to have my ranking done by

Damn I hate draft lists. It takes all the skills out of the draft. Why can't we do a live draft!!!!!!!!! I'll stay up all night one night if that helps.

As will I... who else agrees that a live draft is more in line with what we're doing??? I am definately willing to stay up for a night to do one.

Live drafts are the way to go. Draft lists are fine for the early stage of the draft, but the only way to skillfully fill the holes in a lineup is by using the live draft. You'd be amazed at what players a skilled drafter can find in the later stages of a draft. Draft lists to choose players are as much fun as flipping coins to choose the winner.

When's the draft? I leave tues Aug 5(tomorrow) for 2 weeks! I'll be out of the country! If I need a list I need to do it today, because I fly out tomorrow. Update me bro's!

Okay, all I am back, but fairly delirious after a 33 hour car ride that got me in at about noon today. So I'm not sure I'll make any sense whatsoever here.

LEAGUE FULL: Anyway, now that the original league number one looks full, I assume the movement to start a second (and maybe a third by the end) is underway. Might we want to think about having each league utilize the same scoring system so that at the end an "overall" winner can be declared? That might work, but you also have to consider that, in head-to-head play, the overall points champ is not always the actual winner of the league.

DRAFT: As Ron has stated, the live draft is far and away the preferred option...it involves much more skill in terms of assessing players (cleveland QB controversy comes to mind) and being able to change your priorities midway if a few of your prospects disappear.

So, now that the original league is full, we may want to start to discuss these things...particularly with regards to the draft. I too, would be willing to stay up at odd hours if that's all that works for people, we'll just have to be strict with the time limits.

FINALLY, to all those with PM's as of yet unanswered, I'll be getting to those tonight or tomorrow am, as soon as I get some sleep.

I started a new thread for that while you were away. Me and you will have to work out the details on everything but I like the idea of making one winner. Maybe even some kind of play off system.
