If you register using your full "real" name and want to change that for identity preservation purposes (as I did) as everyone else can see it, simply click on your hyperlinked full name up at the top banner and edit your profile and then click on "personal info". From there, you need to manually change the boxes for both your first and last name. I changed my first name to "Big" and last to "Green", obviously.
