As you all know, after a few minor technical difficulties and late comers, we had only two of twelve completely AWOL from the draft. I will send those individuals a PM and if in fact I don't hear back soon, one of the four guys waiting on deck to snag a team can get first dibs at managing the teams. How we determine who gets those teams I don't really know. Anyway, here are the two teams:

TEAM ONE:
QB Kordell Stewart
QB Patrick Ramsey
RB Ricky Williams
RB Corey Dillon
WR Andre Johnson
WR Taylor Jacobs
WR/TE (utility) Shannon Sharpe
TE Todd Heap
Team Defense Seahawks
K Jeff Reed

BENCH PLAYERS
BE Tiki Barber
BE Curtis Martin
BE Emmitt Smith
BE Lamar Gordon
BE Byron Chamberlain
BE Chad Pennington
BE Arizona Cardinals Team Defense

TEAM TWO

QB Rex Grossman
QB Mark Brunell
RB LaDainian Tomlinson
RB Fred Taylor
WR David Boston
WR Bashir Yamini
WR/TE (utility) Billy Miller
TE Randy McMichael
Team Defense Packers
K John Carney

BENCH PLAYERS
BE Trung Canidate
BE Antowain Smith
BE Jerome Bettis
BE LaMont Jordan
BE Freddie Jones
BE Mike Hollis
BE Cleveland Browns Team Defense
BE Phil Dawson

Just heard from the owner of team #2...he was "at" the draft but experiencing the same problems as Peter North and never snuck in the HTML route to get in the door. I assume he'll be happy with his auto-drafted team (complete with that GH abuser Boston) and stay on.

Besides the RBs, Team #1 is a terrible team. However, if you need someone to take it over, I will volunteer.

It's all about the RB's though. QB competition is so much lower after like the top 4. 5-20 are all the same.

This is true. However, I don't consider Stewart or Ramsey in the 5-20 range. More like the 21-32 range. This guy really screwed up the draft. Took a gangload of RB's and quit the league. Anybody take over the team yet?

I'll let you all know by Friday (that's how long I'm giving the owner of the team, and I think that's fair, but i'll run it by competitors first).

I am strongly opposed to cancelling this team and allowing the players to become free agents. i dont know if you were contemplating that idea but i knew you threw it out in the open. i just think it would create a huge advantage for people with high waiver priority and cause an uneven playing field. because you know ricky williams will be snatched immediately and that would not be a good idea for a few teams to possess multiple early round picks. I would say that whoever is willing to step up and take over the team should be the new owner of team MIA. besides the RB loaded team can ship one or two of those my direction and i will hook them up with some WR's. PN

I never considered disbanding the team, simply transferring ownership to any one of the many individuals who have expressed interest. The question is how to do that fairly, since there are a number of people who are interested in taking it over.

How about first one to respond to this thread? I'll take it over.

also did espn say when the trade options or schedules would be up and running?? PN

No, they haven't yet and they're running behind! Worst case scenario we transfer the draft results over to Yahoo since I don't want to pay for a league that may or may not have trades and schedules up by the season opener.

I don't think they autodrafted...i think i have to change the status to ready. ESPN is coming under some serious fire right now as their fantasy server has been down for the last two days. I really think their set-up and operations are much better than Yahoo, but if we have to use them for their draft and switch to Yahoo, so be it, but i'd prefer not to.

I think the commish in Yahoo can edit the rosters of other teams (under Commish Tools) as long as the teams give permission (found under Edit Team Info). Are you the commissioner, Big Green?
