To the AR faithful who will be following the league, feel free to make your predictions now (recall that gambling is illegal) for week one results:

GAME 1:
The Buncha Bums anchored by Ricky Williams will be clashing with Arizona Dirty Dawgs who hope to counter Williams' performance with one of their own from Edgerrin James.

GAME 2:
The Canada Beaver Patrol, hoping for a resurgence from the Rams of old (with Marshal Faulk and Isaac Bruce starting) take on the So Cal Midgets on Swole, also laden with Saint Louis Rams though bolstering their lineup with a few Seahawks. This week one match up also gives AR's first fantasy football league its first mod-on-mod matchup. Who will have their name and/or title changed by day's end?

GAME 3:
Peter North's Hoosier Daddies, with a strong corp of wideouts and quarterbacks will take on a similarly balanced team in the New England Ivy Leaguers. A close match up on paper, the fan favorite Ivy Leaguers should emerge victorious.

GAME 4:
The balanced attack that is The Black Fury Whip (laying many of their hopes on Priest Holmes' plastic hip nonetheless) comes out of the gate week one to butt heads with The Canadian Yung Wuns, a team with star power and depth at most positions, though lacking a fantasy stud QB.

GAME 5:
Wyoming sends its Tuefel Hundes (looking solemn, to say the least, after a Chad Pennington injury) southeast to face the Florida Fury , a team which could emerge quickly as a powerhouse if Kurt Warner returns to his form of old.

GAME 6:
The 'rough around the edges' Mutha Scrathaz (with an early reputation for being the Raiders of the AR league), strong in the backfield with Ahman Green and Jamal Lewis the tailback tandem, do battle with well-rounded Bad Bunnies, who pose a serious threat in the receiving corp with Keyshawn Johnson, Laverneaus Coles and Randy Moss all in the starting lineup.

So i ask you, ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for some football?

I can't tell you how many times I've said "I wish there were more Harvard grads at this party". :D

No, of course not, that would just be silly...but a party ain't officially started till a Cornell guy and Yale guy go shot for shot. Screw Harvard...unless I get in there for law school, in which case they are the be all/end all of the Ivy League, and thus ALL colleges and universities. As a sidenote, you're really riding me right now and I for one, can not wait until weeks 2 and 10 so I can give you a sound thrashing on the virtual field.

All the FF leagues I've been in the past have been against people I don't know anything about. Now there's extra incentive to dress the best team possible.

On a sidenote, I'm interested in trading Olandis Gary for a startable WR.
