Dirty Dawgs 169, Buncha Bums 159
In the week's closest contest, the Dirty Dawgs, carried by their WRs (Burress and Toomer) will able to offset the Bums' solid running attack of Tiki Barber and Ricky Williams.
Midgets on Swol 187, Beaver Patrol 166
In this historic mod vs. mod battle, the Midgets were able to prevail with a nearly unstoppable running game bolstered by Travis Henry's two-touchdown performance. The Beaver Patrol saw solid all around play but was hurt by Marshall Faulk's dissapointing week one performance.
Hoosier Daddies 164, Ivy Leaguers 113
Done in by an aloof Tom Brady, the Leaguers never stood a chance against the Daddies' receiving corp of Hines Ward and Terrell Owens. The Daddies solidified their victory with an outstanding defensive performance by their team defense, the Denver Broncos, who scored two touchdowns against the Bengals.
Tuefel Hundes 126, Yung Wuns 86
Riding the performance of Charlie Garner (who caught for 112 yards out of the backfield), the Tuefel Hundes made quick work of the Yung Wuns, whose only glimmer of hope came from their Jaguars' tandem of Mark Brunell and Fred Taylor.
Black Fury Whip 204, Mutha Scrathaz 105
In this week's biggest blowout, the Fury decimated the impotent Scrathaz, whose efforts were done in, in part, by a horrid New England defense. The Fury saw big numbers from everyone, but none as big as those put up by Priest Holmes, who scored twice while rushing for almost 90 yards and catching for just under 100.
Florida Fury 227, Bad Bunnies 204
The Bunnies kick off the year with a heartbreaker. While their performance would not have resulted in a loss against 10 of the 11 possible opponents for week one play, Fate herself ran the Bunnies smack into a brick wall constructed by the likes of Algae Crumpler, Derrick Mason, and the New Orleans tandem of Dante Stallworth and Joe Horn. Even a 150 yard effort by Randy Moss could not take down this wall, leaving the Bunnies scratching their heads and wondering what could have been.
