I've got a bit of a running back problem this weekend. Every single one of my RBs (all five of em that I'll consider....anthony thomas is dead to me, but i'm afraid to cut him) are about dead even in terms of point scoring (in the 14.5-16.0 range. Here are my options this week:
Eddie George at Pitt
Shawn Bryson at Denver
Troy Hambrick at the Jets
Ladell Betts at home against the Pats
Kevin Faulk at the Skins
Hambrick is being given serious consideration because the Jets have the second worst rushing defense in the league. Denver only gives up 70 yards a game on the ground and though I think Bryson is emerging as a starter on my team, I'm hesitant to give him his first start against that D. Pittsburgh is in the middle with regards to defense, but eddie george had a good week last week, and may be back to the form he showed the season before last. Washington also has a decent D, but i think faulk will put up good numbers there.
So, i think I'll be going out on a limb with hambrick against the weak rushing defense of the jets, but who to put out there with him remains a question. Any thoughts?
