My brilliant proposal as Commish

In order to liven things up here at the ARFFL, I'm proposing that we institute an All Star Game...simply for bragging rights. Over the next three weeks (well, it'll only take two..you'll see my point in a moment) we hold a best-of-three series between the best of the Anabolic Division and the best of the Androgen Division. Prior to Sunday, a designated coach for each team (I propose the leading team of each division as of now??) AFTER CONFERRING WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THEIR DIVISION (through PMs, whatever) posts here on AR the team that their division will sport for that week. We fill the normal positions that we need to fill on our normal teams and then, after results are in as compiled by ESPN, I'll just assign the points to the all star teams and add em up...now you see why it'll only take two weeks, as there's no way the Anabolics could lose even one game against you bastards over in Androgen. Hell, I"ll even make up commemorative all star helmets for each team. I say we do this thing.

Yeah...the Androgen Division team can only consist of players currently on Androgen Division teams and vice versa for the Anabolic Division. So either Ron or Peter North (current Anabolic leaders) will officially submit our team on this thread prior to sunday (again, after conferring with other members of the division) while I believe it would be you who would post the final team roster for the Androgen.

All right bro my PM's have already gone out. Question; I was thinking of opening a thread that we (Androgen division) could each post whom we would have picked if the decision was left to each. Then we could pick our best players and vote on ones we are not so sure about. Would you losers do the same or would you like to keep it a secret? Also, what games would you gather the points from......weeks 12 and 13? Just wanted to know so we don't pick someone who has a by week.

The points will come from this coming week (week 9) and week 10. If by some act of God we have not swept you after two weeks, week 11 will be used as the tie breaker. I figured since we're at the midway point of the NFL season, we might as well hold the all star game there like every other sport does.

(I hate to say this) not only do I like Mr. North's selected team, but I like his idea of the two respetive coaches choosing an allstar roster now (as opposed to just picking starters each week as I had envisioned). Good call.

Well, the only guy I heard from was Sigrabbit (both his and my picks are pretty much the same). I don’t think any will notice tell they start to look at the ESPN board today. In any case here are my picks for the all-star game this week. Some key players have a bye this week so they’ll be pulled into the line up next week.

It being an All-Star game (three week culmination correct?) my choices would be the top ranked players for each position anyway.

that would save us some time and work of selecting for each week. PN

I like that...this way, the two "coaches" don't catch flack for any decisions, but there's still an element of smarts involved if we say that we take the top players at the above positions and numbers that WERE STARTED by a team from the respective division...that way your division isn't rewarded if one of your owners neglects to start a 200 yard rusher. Sound good?
