OMG. If you guys DO NOT have these two downloads, you need them.

Ive been seeing these discussed in threads and saved the sites in my favorites. Today, I took the time to download, install, and use the two softwares.
Both took a total of NO MORE than 10 minutes to install and use.

You wont believe ALL the cookies that are installed on your computer without your knowledge. You can go into your cookie folder and manually do it but, these programs take an hour out of that process.

I havent had ONE POPUP yet. ALSO, my computer runs SO MUCH FASTER and does not lock up anymore.

It made me sick to see how many advertisement cookies were on my computer.

Sweet. Check this new guy out. :elephant:

Ya, Spybot seems to have fixed something with "SpyWiper" and something that hijacked my browser. Got the free download at
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=home
and gonna send 'em some $$$ for their ongoing support & etc . . .

Yes alot of people don't realize how spyware can slow your Internet and your computer down. I run a spyware check on my systems at least once a month. Remember you have to keep those things updated like virus scanners, becuase new spyware is coming out daily. Run once or twice a month only have you have checked them for updates.

i suggest getting spysweeper, its free with 1 update(downloads.com) but go through kazza lite and its free with unlimited updates. It kills ad aware, and also picks up trojans, worms etc..........Hitman

Beware there is a new type of spyware out there, that is actually a downloader for more spyware. Had a humdinger of a time getting rid of it. It is almost viral in the sense of the way it works. I think the name of it is "Look4me". It uses a .dll that loads at startup in the windows system directory. Only one way to get it out and that is to go into the registry find the keys it embeds in and delete those keys. Very nasty. Spybot nor Xclener would effectively clean it. Norton I understand does detect it, but only as a spyware. Not sure how well it cleans it. But if spybot nor Xcleaner nor Adware would remove it, then I'd say it is something that you guys need to be made aware of. Watch out for this one.

I thinkI answered this before, but yes spybot is one of the best out there. If o not the best. I run it on all of my servers and don't have one problem. Which actually helps considering the fact that I have a bunch of idoits that work on these computers!!

Spybot is a great program. I am constantly recomending it to clients.

Hopefully on their next update, I'll be able to clear out a little problem that I got off of a p2p program. Otherwise I'm having to go into the registery and clear it out myself. :(
