Who will win round one of the FF playoff's?

Well as luck would have it (for Ron it's all luck) Ron's Team (the Slow Cow Midgets on Shrink) and my team (The Fabulous Florida Fury........remember that name......it's the one all the fans will be screaming after the Super Bowl) will get to sit back and watch as Peter North's team (The Loser Daddies) go against Big Green's Team (Their name is too long so we'll call them the Lobster Boy's) for the Anabolic Division. For the Androgen Division, MBH's team (Black Fuzzy Wimps) go head to head against Sigrabbit's team (Sad Bunnies).

For those of you who have not been following the outcome throughout the season it has been full of surprise and heartache but now it comes down to the last team standing! My prediction for this week’s game is hard to make. Peter North's team has been on top for the most part while Big Green's has had its ups and downs. If Peter's team comes out with both guns blazing Big Green will be hard pressed to hold his ground, however, on any given Sunday anything can happen. In my humble opinion I think Peter will squeak by Big Green and head off to battle Ron.

As for MBH and Sigrabbit game........now that is a real hard one to pick. MBH and Sig have put up great numbers throughout the season (Both put up more points than my team!). Due to the fact that MBH's team seems to put up consistent high number ever game I'll have to say he stands a slight advantage. But then again Sig isn't the type of team you can just take for granted. Tough to call. And to tell the truth...........I'm none to happy to have to do battle with either of these guys come time for the second round.

We are at the cross roads gentlemen and only one team can take the FF ring......who will it be?

I have to say that my team is quite dependent on Minnesota, and the Vikes happen to have one of the toughest remaining schedules. So, it is likely that I will go down in a blaze of glory this week.

Looks like the Dancing Banana cheer squad had decided to make a trip to the East Coast to cheer for Big Green (and what ever the name of his team is) while the Midgets enjoy their well deserved first round Bye. I like to cheer for the little guy and he is well....... :dg:

My in-depth, ESPN-esque analysis is as follows:

In the Anabolic Division game, my team, THE IVY LEAGUERS, have become a little more dependent than I'd like on Brady and Faulk. This week the Pats run into the Dolphins, who don't allow too many touchdowns through the air (takes away some of Brady's points) and are pretty **** stingy on the ground (taking away Faulk's points as well). That's a big hole for the Leaguers to climb out of. My other main man, Marvin Harrison, is going up against a solid pass defense in the Titans, so many of my stars are going up against tough Ds this week, much to my dismay. Mr. North, on the other hand, has T.O. and Hines Ward going up against some less than stellar pass defenses...could put me in a tough spot.

The Androgen Division game, to put it simply, comes down to how well the Vikings play the against the Seahawks, since the Bunnies rely heavily on Moss, and recently on Bennet, who I cast off for being more woman than man. Seattle statistically has a decent pass defense as well as rushing defense (both in the middle of the pack), but are on a downward slide for sure. There's no question in my mind that the Vikes vs. Seahawks game will essentially determine the winner of this one.
