Ok, who can name the youngest person to ever win the olympia and the oldest person to ever win the olympia? (This one should be cake, but they will get more difficult:D )

Pete235
01-09-2002, 02:46 PM
Ahhh...you may have stumped me:) I'll have to guess. Oldest...Zane or Dickerson, Youngest...Arnie.

Psycoswole
01-09-2002, 04:17 PM
Corrrect! Dickerson at 43 and Ahhnold at 23. :clapping:

Ok, now lets really get some good Q's

Who was the oldest person to ever COMPETE in the Olympia

(hint-he was really old! hehe)

bigkev
01-09-2002, 11:57 PM
albert beckles or sergio

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 12:13 AM

bigkev
01-10-2002, 01:40 AM

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 03:03 AM
Yep he was 53

Next Question :D

Which husband and wife team competed in the Mr. & Ms. Olympias? There are two.

Pete235
01-10-2002, 06:07 AM
I know Lee Preist and Cathy LeFrancois Priest and I'd say Ronnie and Vicky but they were never married. Hmmmm....what about Dave Fisher and Sue Price?

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 06:20 AM
You got one out of two Pete Lee and Cathy
Ill give you a hint to the next couple, it was in 1981

Pete235
01-10-2002, 06:37 AM
Wow...thats going back!! :) I didn't really start following the Olympia until 83. Hmmm......lets see, I know Franco won the O that year but I'm having dificulty remembering the women...I know Rachel McLish won the first Ms. O in 1980. I give up Swole...I guess I'll have to take a test score of 50% on this one :)

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 06:46 AM
Yea that was tough one, it was Steve Davis and his wife Ellen. Still impressed petey.

Next question :D

Name the three Olympia competitors that have been Police Officers, hehe another tough one

ptbyjason
01-10-2002, 07:01 AM
Hey, I am going to give everyone the hard one on this question, but I don't want to answer the two easy ones. Believe it or not Ronnie Coleman was a member of the Arlington Police Dept. Ok, Pete go ahead and get the easy ones now. :wg:

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 07:05 AM

Psycoswole
01-10-2002, 07:32 AM

Psycoswole

Psycoswole
01-11-2002, 06:07 AM
Ok here is todays question, 2 parts

What bodybuilder worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger in a two-man brick masonry business in California shortly after their arrival to the U.S? What was his nickname?

Pete235
01-11-2002, 08:49 AM
I'm inclined to say Franco because he and Arnold were best friends....but I'm not sure. Was it Jessup Wilcoz? The only colorful nickname I remember from that era was "The blonde bomber" Dave Draper. I think you stumped me this time Swole :)

BigDude
01-11-2002, 08:21 PM
guess....

BigDude
01-11-2002, 08:22 PM
..

Mallet
01-11-2002, 08:49 PM
Ya pete it was definately franco! but I can't think of the nickname,
I'll have to search my archives.

Psycoswole
01-11-2002, 09:27 PM
You guys are right it was Franco. Tell me if you guys give up:D

Did you guys ever see the worlds strongest man competition they held in the early 80s i think that had a bunch of bodybuilders competeing, like Franco and big Lou?

Let me think about that one BigDude:cool:

Mallet
01-11-2002, 10:56 PM
That was 1977 psyco , and yes I have them all on tape from
1977 - 1997

Are you hinting something, or preparing us for the next question?

Psycoswole
01-11-2002, 11:41 PM
What an animal Franco was that year. Hyperextended his knee to shit during the refridgerator carrying event, and was talking like it was no big deal. He was upset he couldnt compete in the next event! What a savage. Was thinking about throwing in a Q from there. Well see what i come up with, maybe one will come to me while i nap

Oh yea, Francos nickname is 'Sardinian Samson'

bigkev
01-12-2002, 12:08 AM
yep, that injury kept franco from dominating the olympia the next few years.

heres a question; who are the only 2 pro bodybuilders to beat dorian?

THE BIG RED MACHINE
01-12-2002, 12:29 AM
Lee Haney was one right?

bigkev
01-12-2002, 12:38 AM
yep, big lee was one.

THE BIG RED MACHINE
01-12-2002, 12:58 AM
Drawing a blank on the second one, but something is telling me that is was Shawn Ray, No? Don't make me wipe the dust off of my back issues of FLEX!

By the way, nice new avatar. Let me guess, you went from Arnolds back to Kev's front and you didn't think we'de know the difference.

I'm guessing here BK...but was it Mohammed Benazizza at the 1990 NOC? I know Dorian won his first and only NOC in 1991.

Psycoswole
01-12-2002, 08:59 AM
Haney at the 91 Olympia barely beat him. Benaziza in the 90 NOC :D

bigkev
01-12-2002, 02:46 PM
yep swole, it was mo-mo benaziza before he died.

heres another dorian question; what injury finally forced dorian to retire? (it wasnt the torn bicep)

Pete235
01-12-2002, 03:18 PM
Although I've been doing ok to date...I have to defer on this one...I was gonna guess the torn bicep (which, now that I think about it, doesn't make sense because he won 3 more Sandows after that accident).

Pete235
01-12-2002, 03:20 PM
While were waiting for somebody to answer BK's Dorian question...I'm gonna throw out an easy one:

Name 2 high level IFBB pros who have spent time in prison. (Hint...both went to jail AFTER they won their pro cards)

BigDude
01-12-2002, 05:02 PM
In prison: Titus and Stan McCrary.. and oh yeah, Sonny Schmidt.. and Bertil Fox. Probably there's others too.

And Dorian was beaten my to PRO's yes, but as an amateur, he was beaten many many time, by mahy BBer's. Even though I am a fan of his, I think he looked pretty gross a couple of times, and shouldn't have won, but that's how Mr. O institution works. He should be 3 or 4 times Mr. O, not 6, IMHO.

Psycoswole
01-12-2002, 08:41 PM
Was it a tricep injury Kev?

Who the hell is that BDude?

Mallet
01-12-2002, 09:29 PM
Ya! I think it was the tri-cep injury?

retired
01-12-2002, 10:23 PM
looks like Marco Savolainan (not sure of the spelling) to me... Big guy from Finland, competed in the Grand Prix after the Olympia but so far has not lived up to his potential

leukemia
06-22-2002, 01:09 AM

berry
06-22-2002, 06:52 AM
