Why so slow?

I love this board, but it is so painfully slow compared to every other board online that I don't come often. Why is that?

I thought it was just my pos computer. I would think that it's just because of the amount of people that are always logged on, and posting.

I just got an e-mail that I had a reply here, so I clicked on this link. Then I counted. It took 19 seconds, on DSL for the page to load.

I thought that also Darkseid til I looked at how many people were logged in one day and it was under 20 so I ruled that out.Would like to know why this board is slow.

RC1 is coming out today (hopefully). I will let it run on other websites for a little while to see if there are any bugs or not. I will probably install it in 1 - 2 weeks. Hopefully that will improve things.
