are u the administrator of this machine???

and xp has built in security that doesn't allow "software" to just randomly delete files..

use the delete cookie option.. or delete the cookie folder manually..

have fun..........

Go to "tools" "internet options" then "delete cookies" It's that easy.

there will still be hidden cookies in the IE cache.. Download a program called "window washer" you can get a free 30 day trial period.. and this will get rid of everything!!!

http://www.window-washer.info/download/

Tools, interntet options.. and clear history.. delete cookies..online/offline content will not get rid of the all.. You need a secondary program like window washer to get rid of them completely.

you will need to goto the control panel and then internet option and remove them that way.. you probably install something not allowing you to go straight then within IE..
