Well, it's been about 2 months since I could train legs again after double patellar tendon ruptures. (Had extensive surgery to repair both, could not train legs for 6 months, and was pretty bummed!) Anywho, just began to train legs again about 2 months ago, I'm only 55% recovered, and I still CANNOT run. One of the worst injuries aside from a complete bicep rupture, or pectoral tear. Having this injury affect BOTH legs, and "legs in general" you can only guess what that does to your upper body in regards to struggling to maintain size. Good news is that I get to now bulk for 4 months, then cut for 3 or so and perhaps do a show at the end of the year, that is my goal. Actually, acting and persuing those commercials/extra positions in movies is what I aim to do, screw the shows, lol.........Anyhow, nothing major or impressive, I'm just lettin' the bros who asked how I was know how it's going.

Now, it's time to get really big! :D

Knee surgery pics........(legs suck, be nice! :D)

http://216.156.252.156/images/legs3.jpg

That's about it..........need to get to work on building more mass and getting back to where I was. Not training legs for months on end can really put a damper on the rest of you! For all those who contemplate how important legs are in training, man, DO THEM!!!!!!! Legs are the teacher, the upper body is the student!

Peace all!

For the amount of time you were out, you look awesome. Muscle memory will kick you back in no time. The rest probably did you well. Looking good as usual, my man, have fun with that bulk cycle, I know you will :).

Hey swole, just wondering what you plan of attack for bulking is going to be ie diet, supplements, training & cardio. Any chance you can lay it all out i know youre busy but it would be good to see and learn from.

Looking big & cut!

Cheers

I can holler back w/my plan of attack, as I don't even know what it entails. :) I'm actually meeting a trainer Saturday in Las Vegas to discuss my next year and plan of attack. He has suggestions for me that he thought would benefit me, so I'm going to listen to him as he knows his sh*t inside/out. Thanks Lew!

Cr*p.......gotta leave now or I'll never make it to Vegas! :D
Bros here/diet board/etc., that is where I'll be so if my presence here is scarce, that's why. You can reach me via e-mail, as I'll check that once per day from my suite. Only once though, gotta have some fun too. :D

Thanks all,

Bull, I look "okay" I suppose, but then again I know what I looked like pre-injury so it's kind of hard to see what others see.

I thank all of you for your support. Now, off to the Excalibur buffet breakfast! 3000 kcals down the hatch! :D

Very impressive for having taken so much time off during the recovery. Or for most of us, very impressive period. Good luck on your prep for your year end show.

You still kept some leg size with that layoff. Very impressive recovery bro. I'm glad to hear you're back on track. Injuries do suck badly. I injured my lower back on the leg press in January and couldn't walk for a couple days. Made me realize how much I take for granted.

Glad to hear your back and almost (well not really 55%) recovered. We need to swap some leg training plans.. ;)

If that's what you look like after knee surgery....I'm gonna go get knee surgery...j/k
looking good bro, just take it easy and don't rush it. No sense in getting reinjured.

Nah, I'm just starting a bulk now. Those pics are pre-bulk and they were just in a maintenance type phase. I don't plan on bulking w/much fat though, to me that's not needed to make outstanding progress. I know how to eat to sculpt myself, I'm not going to be throwing caution to the wind and inhaling everything I see as in traditional "bulkers".

Thanks for the props everyone!
