Vitamin B12 is important for metabolism. Metabolism within the body includes the processes of energy generation and use; including nutrition, digestion, absorption, elimination, respiration, circulation, and temperature regulation.

I've seen a lot b12 plus complex products. Do you just want the b12 or is cool to throw in the extra?

Im not really thinking about taking it, just dont know much about it and cant really find any threads on the subject. Just seems odd to inject it is all.

B12 is mostly destroyed by the liver when taken orally...
Injecting is the best way to absorb it...
Also important for protein metabolism...
Which is why some bros use it when on a cycle...

I would assume you can just buy this stuff otc/net?
How much do you inject at once, and how many times throughout the day?
Can you just buy syringes at a local pharmacy? (I asked a friend, and he said as long as you know the specific type, they'll give it to you, Just wanna make sure u're not a drug abuser). I think there's different kinds, like fine, etc, do you know what kind to use? I would assume the gauge is the only thing that really matters.
Sorry for the newb ?'s, you can tell i don't go into the steroid forum very much, but I'm seriously considering picking up some b12.

1000mcg once a week. Either sub-q or IM. Sub-q= less scar tissue.
Some people like to do it every day. It is non-toxic, so it doesn't matter if you do too much. You will just piss out the extra.

True
There was a company I used years ago that made a nasal gel that
increased absorbtion, but after I started to like sticking myself I
wouldn't dream of missing a chance to stick a needle in my ass...:D

I think I'll probably start b12 once school gets out in a month or so, it looks pretty promising. Just a couple questions.
I see that link is for vet grade b12, I know there is also human grade b12 (much more expensive), I've heard mixed responses that vet grade is fine, anyone else care to comment?
How frequent are your b12 injections? I've heard some do it ED, EOD, 3x week, and 1x a week. Right now I'm thinking I'll probably just figure it out on my own, and see what fits best, but just wanted to see if there was any reasoning behind the frequency.

I've used both and haven't noticed any real difference.I use 500mcgs ed.Helps with my appetite and gives me a slight energy boost. It also helps in the production of red blood cells and aids in repair of the nervous system.

From wondering what B12 was i now wanna experiment with it. Stimulating my appitite would definatley be a benefit.

Stimulating my appitite .
hmmmmm..........i never heard of B12 stimulating your appetite.........i actually had my bottle of Hot Rox right next to me...........this is the Supplement Facts.........
https://www.biotestedge.com/img/sitewide/hotroxsuppfacts.gif
and like i said my ex takes it when he's dieting for a show........so if anything, i would think the total opposite....that it suppresses your appetite
please someone correct me if im wrong.........thanks

Danielle, What your ex is taking is a thermogenic, alot of thermogenics contain the B-vitamins because they have various fat burning props. I took something very similar to hot-rox when I was dieting, and as I progressively upped the dose, I noticed a decrease in appetite.

Here is some human stuff.
http://www.canadapharmacy.com/cart/index.cfm?fuseaction=product_detail&producturlname=Vitamin.B12.Injection.Cyanocobalami n&productid=2046
It is injected because it has a bad oral bioavailability.
Also, shy away from the b-12 complex because it sounds like they can really sting.
B-12 by itself is what you want.
