Baroni Pulls Out of UFC 49

"The NY Bad Ass" Phil Baroni was forced to pull out of UFC 49 due to health problems. "For my fans, family, friends, and especially myself, I want to make sure that I'm able to compete to the absolute best of my ability the next time that I fight," Baroni told InsideFighting. "The last time I fought I didn't compete up to the best of my ability, and I don't want that to ever happen again. So I decided to sit this one out, get healthy and hopefully return at UFC 50 and compete in front of my hometown crowd!"
