yeh,..hes only got the fight in him for 4 rounds,.not 10 - 12 like these young hungry guys,...i personally think he can still do it but, when youve been a millionare for the last 20 years,as a proffessional ( not including his amature days )..running for 20 years,..training for 20 years,..you kinda get tired of it ya know..football players dont even last that long..he would need a whole new staff and be reborn again to do it like he use to!!!!!

A pay-per-view event of Tyson vs. Holyfield would make a ton of $$ if they hyped it up enough. Even though their skills aren't what they used to be, the average guy is gonna watch that fight. It would be entertaining as hell.

i talked to two ex trainers of mikes after the fight. he told them he was well aware he was winning the fight. he was frustrated that he couldnt reach kevins head for a k.o. he thought about kneeing him in the head. he also said he was so frustrated that if he would have knocked him down, he was thinking about just piling on top of him. he was having bad thoughts and instead of acting on them, like he did in the past, he chose to quit. i think he made the right decision. i understand that he doesnt have the heart to win a 10 round decision. i dont blame him. he's a brawler at heart. i hope he fights again. its all he knows. i know alot of other fighters in his same boat. if you knew them, you'd understand.

yes, puzzling though a little. most fighters i talk to, his age or older, still want to fight. they just dont want to train anymore. guys like michael moorer, even guys like jose ribalta or trevor burbeck or ray mercer. iron mike is just the opposite. he still trains like an animal. if you saw him recently you'd swear he'd kill anyone. but when he gets in that ring on fight night something happens to him mentally and its all over. very puzzling and sad to me. all those guys i mentioned are great guys and great friends of mine. its hard to let go when its all you know. im thankful when my career was over it wasnt my choice. sucked then but now that im older im glad it wasnt me walkin away cause i dont know how i would have handled picking the right time to leave for good.

HEARD IT WAS MANDATORY( by all the boxing commisioners ) THAT HE TAKES HIS MEDICATION days before the fight. Thats my opnion of what changes him prior to fight night.
