UFC 54:Boiling Point
I was in vegas and went to it last week. Man was i lucky. Right when i got there i saw it was that night cuz there was a taxi with a UFC ad on the back. I was like "Shit! It's tonight! I must go!". So i got my choice of $100-$300 dollar tickets and obviosly the 300s were closer so i said wtf and bought them. But man was i lucky cuz not only did i get good seats on short notice but I also witnessed some of the best UFC action i could hope for. 2 big knockouts with a roundhouse to the head and a flying knee kick! The flying knee was actually in the first fight. Both the recipients of those knockouts were taken away on a stretcher! Never have i seen 2 guys leave in a stretcher in one night.
All the fights had good action, and there was some good bleeding also.
Now i used to compete shootfigting and BJJ i lil and i have to say the technique was nice too. A few of the guys realy impressed me.
My only complaints are that Chcuk Liddell ould have finished Jeremy horn more decisevly but, he still pretty much owned jeremy the whole time. And also, i hated seeing Diego Sanchez win and i hope he gets his little ass handed to him soon which i feel he will in his next 2 fights. If he fights anyone of high caliber he's dead. He came out to the the gayest mexican music ever, i can't even explain it. I feel like training again just so i can go after his ass and put him and his mexican music out of comission. It's really gonna piss me off if i have to here his gay music for the next 30 UFC'S.Ugh!
Anyway, does anybody know if Tre tilligman and that other guy are okay? I think tre will be okay as it was just a roundhouse to the head, and guys have recovered from that. But the black guy(name?) took a flying knee to the head as he was shooting in. That's alot of impact! I think he might be dead. It was fun to see both these knockouts but i hope the guys are okay. I have always like the lions den guys so i hope tre is back, and the black guy was really fun to watch fight as his takedowns and use of elbows on the ground delighted me. I like his style.Last edited by AnabolicBoy1981; 08-26-2005 at 05:09 AM.

yeah, silva is a big dude. I thought for sure tre would have kicked his ass though, but silva really messed him up even before the kick. The right side of his face was all bloody.
Red, your tickets will priolly be good man. I remember walking in and just being amazed at how close the octagon was. On tv the arenas look alot bigger but then you go to one and your like, hmm, its not that big.

UFC will protect Diego forever as long as the ratings are up and the $$ is good. They did it for Tito for 4 years.
It seems I hate a fighter the more cocky they are or the flashier they act.
Fedor and Crocop never even blink or say nothing-just destroy mother f@ckers, I guess thats why I love em.

Silvia hits freaken hard, against Jiu Jitsu he has proven a bit worthless Mir and Arlovski.
Right now in UFC i dont think anyone can beat Arlovski, this guy can bang hard and submit.
Tim needs to climb back the ladder a bit for another heavyweight title shot.
He should work on ground a lot more before going in for a rematch against Mir or Arlovski, he is Militage camp and trains with Horn and Hugues this is where it becomes puzzling a bit that the guy got no ground skills?

I coulda got the more expensive tix if it was just me, but I'm takin 5 people with me.
UFC + CASINO = **** YEAH!!!! All we need are the hookers.
Thanks for the info. I really believe the UFC has the potential to blow up bigger than boxing.
