ORTIZ -vs- GRIFFIN
this fight is to happen april 2006, my guess is its a tune-up fight for tito, forest is going to get knocked off that high horse he's been riding. i like tito and will watch this fight but wish he was fighhting a more worthy opponent. i dont think it will go the distance (and i mean the first round)

Well since is lost against Liddell Tito has foguth second grade opponents, i mean you cant consider Patrick Cote to be a serious opponent, not even Vitor Belfort that sucks like hell since he got into Pride.
I really hope Tito can put on a show like he did at UFC40 against Shamrock man did he bash him up.
I rather see Tito against Liddell 2 then Couture Liddel 3 for sure

if tito sticks to ground n pound i think it would be like watching rich vs nate expect on the ground. but he might try to show his standup skills first and give griff a better chance

Forest could definetely use a little humbling...and getting beat like a red headed stepchild will more than likely do just that...I still love you Ken...

Tito Ortiz is my Dad, and he's going to beat the XYIENCE right outta that Forest Gump....i cant believe Gump is even in the UFC, i thought they meant to put him in the "special" ufc, u know? like the special olympics?? but none the less, he shall soon find out, the UFC is much like a box of chocolates, u never know which hold or take down you're gonna get.....

My thoughts
If you look at it from both sides here is how I see it. Forrest does have the better stand up while Tito has subpar stand-up. However Tito has very good submissions but he often grounds and pounds using is ground control to set up the ground and pound after all he is a ADCC competitor and I believe he took 2nd this year? Not sure but he is very good submission grappler. Dana White said Forrest has a better submission game but that is also not be scene becouse his tapout against Bill Mahood does not count since Bill Mahood is only a journeymen in this sport. Tito's chin is not suspect and neither is forrest's however I think if Forrest can aviod the takedown i.e sprawl and brawl his heart could pull him threw this. However I see Tito impossing his will and getting a late third round stoppage or more likely a UD from the judges. Anyway just my two cents!
