    Martial Arts

    I think in about a month i am joing a shotokan karate class? any recomendations on it? or warnings or things i should prepair for? Thanks

    save your money, I think its reatarded... Just because a place is close to you doesn't mean its wortht going to..just my own personal opionion though

    try going to mma.tv and clicking the schools button, type in your state and look around and you may find others (if you havent looked there)

    nothing personal against it, but there are far too many bad karate places verses the actual good ones

    well they also offer boxing and mma, you think that mma is better? i just dont wan to be bored and shit, want some good stuff

    Seems like most Karate schools these days are focused on making money off the KIDS! Most are better business men than they are fighters! Just my .02

    it depends i guess...if your wanting something tough, fast paced, functional in life and ddon the streets...id say mma

    if your wanting someting easier, soft, but more spiritual like..i guess karate


    i get bored fast with karate when they start the kata stuff
