As a lineman, your 40 means nothing. You will never be outrunning a safety, or chaseing a WR. Just do things for explosion. PC's ar obvious. Do things like jump squats, running up stairs,running up and down hills. Platform jumps help too. Get your footwork as good as possible too.A kid I went to school with (he transfered from our highschool his junior year) runs in he high 5 ranges. Hes playin JUCO now,but has offers from every Big 10 school,most of the SEC,and half of the big 12. His brother who plays for the Bears ran like a 5.3 at the combine and was a first round pick. Your technique and explosiveness will make up for slow 40 time as a lineman. Good luck man. Just bust your azz and you will see results.
