    Level of Play

So what level does everybody here play at, I play at top level NAIA program. Some people dont think the ball is as good at small college level but I personally think it is better, because the the players there actaully are playing more for the love of the game. The only difference is a couple of inches and maybe a .10 or 2.

The level of play at 1-A is way higher compared to 1-AA. Everyone is faster, stronger, they have better systems, better weight programs, better coaches, better boosters.....Div 1-A athletes have all the tools.

I'm sure the difference from 1-AA to D2 or NAIA isn't that much.

def agree, once you go from full schlorships to other division, well hell, they are all pretty much the same. d-1aa,2 and 3 and pretty much created equal.

I play D1-AA football. The difference between 1-A and 1-AA (scholarship wise) is 1-A has 83 full scholarships, and 1-AA has 63 full scholarships that they can give out. The problem with 1-AA is that you also have non-scholarship 1-AA conferences (3 conferences), where they dont give out athletic scholarships, only need based grants. Many 1-AA teams knock out 1-A teams and are competive with them, this year i recall New Hampshire beating Rutgers, Maine beating Mississippi State. Delaware last year beat Navy but this year they lost i believe. Furman this year who just lost in the quarterfinals were beating Pittsburgh until Pitt came back in the 4th quarter. I know top 1-AA schools cant take out top ranked 25 schools, but top 1-AA schools are pretty equal to mid-level 1-A. I play for non-scholarship 1-AA, in 2-3 years we are supposed to be moving up to full scholarship 1-AA, and its pretty cool being the class that brings our school to the full scholarship level. D2 I believe has a max of 40 something scholarships, and as we all know it, D3 cant give out ****.

D3 all the way. D2 for the most part is a joke. Past years we have played D2 schools and been very close to them. D3 i have noticed alot of Jucie monkeys.

I've said it before, the biggest difference between d2 and d3 schools is location. Mount Union up around Cleveland is gonna have a better time recruiting athletes with limited resources than West Liberty State on top of a mountain in northern WV. once you get past 1-A, its all about where your school is and who you know.
