    Arrow Will this make me faster?

    I'm wondering if this makes any sense for speed.

    I'm currently running 300mg of Enth p/week + 40mg Var ED.

    I started the cycle @ 5'11" 170lbs and am up to 177 now. My plan is to try and get to 190 or so while continuing my speed training and then eventually cut down to about 180 before the season (baseball).

    Will training at a heavier weight make me faster once I drop the lbs again?

    Speed is too much a part of my game to put on too much weight.

    you'll be fine as long as you keep your speed training up. I gained 25 lbs on my first cycle, and still rocked the 5k.

    IMHO, ur ok. just keep working hard.

    Thanks for the help Derek, but I'm still trying to figure out whether or not adding weight, getting used to carrying that weight while sprinting and then dropping it will help my sprinting. It makes logical sense to me, when I explain it like that, but I'm wondering if there are any psyiological aspects I am missing.

    a good puff of crack cocain always gets me movin.... but seriously the weight will make your acceleration quiker (runners use it for getting off the line quiker) wouldnt understand why it wouldnt make you faster as well as long as the weight u loose isnt muscle
