    ammonia???

do yall think using ammonia inhalents would help before an event. ive never used them during training or powerlifting meets but was wondering if they would be benficial to use moments before a big throw or sprint. Ive heard from many serious power lifters, that they help get a few extra pounds during competition or a big lift in the weightroom, and thought it might be good for track and field use.

I think that would be a psychological help more than physical. Just try it in practice, see how it goes.

I don't know but it's been used in football to wake people up from gettin' knocked silly for many years.
