i took it many many years ago.. of course when i was in college the internet was just getting started. i remeber the class was tough, tougher than cost accounting. i got through it and so can you. good luck

Do whatever you can to completely understand your first year of accounting courses. I struggled to get B's in the beginner financial and managerial, then it cheated my ass off for the next 3 upper level courses. And now it is still biting me in the ass that i didnt master that crap from early on w/o having any acct classes in my schedual. Honestly, get a tutor or whatever it takes to really nail that stuff down. it WILL suck, but will be beneficial in the long run.

I took that about 2 years ago, when I was still in college. Just try to get through it. I know I barely passed because I barely graduated..... but, I did graduate.... haha... I HATED college with a passion. I'd rather be dead than go back to that.

Managerial was cake for me. Just read the book and do the homework... if your're majoring an accounting and don't get managerial... you're in big trouble.

I didn't post when I first saw this thread for fear of sounding like a horse's ass (which I probably do anyway).

Same here, I thought it was a joke, didn't even open the book outside of class until 3 days prior to the final. But Arthur is definitely right, internal control and auditing will get you some of the best jobs in accounting.
